ROME WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY

img_0652.JPGAfter the huge international success of Sophie McDougall’s extraordinary debut ROMANITAS, which imagined a modern world where the Roman Empire still ruled, we are delighted to see the follow-up, ROME BURNING, published this week by Orion Books. The Good Book Guide described Romanitas thus, ‘A transfixing first novel in an epic trilogy… A stunningly imaginative tale’.  Fans have a treat because the new one is even better! Sophia is pictured above (centre) with PFD editor/agent Sarah Ballard and Jon Wood - Sophia’s publisher at Orion Books. Check out photos from the launch party here held last night at the very wonderful Goldsboro Books.
